Front end developer for Wellright

Job Summary:

The Software Engineer is responsible for the technical design, development and maintenance of web applications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment to help generate ideas and quickly turn them into robust, well-tested, functioning code
  • Work within a UI JavaScript framework (Angular 9+) to produce exemplary code and deliver completed projects in the time promised
  • Design, develop and deploy high-volume, scalable, enterprise-level, web-based applications
  • Participate in system design, architecture decisions and code reviews
  • Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment
  • We expect developers to be able to explain and recommend when to use new features such as signals and hybrid change detection
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes to implement responsive web designs using HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
  • Implement complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, services to deliver clean, vibrant and interactive user experience
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing application performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and competitive

Requirements

  • 5+ years development experience working clean complex end user facing interfaces with the latest version of Angular (17+) and Angular material
  • Experience with reactive forms and properly creating user friendly forms with intuitive validation
  • Agile product development experience in high-growth tech companies
  • C# on ASP.NET MVC / ASP.Net Core
  • Minimum english language level: B2. If you don’t know your level you can take a 15 minutes test here: EF Standard English Test

Preferred, but not required:

  • JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with Microservices, Message Queues and Caching Layers (Redis)
  • GraphQL (Apollo Server/Client)
  • AWS (EC2,SQS/SNS,Lambda,DynamoDB)
  • Nrwl/NX MonoRepo experience is a big plus
  • NoSQL Experience (DynamoDB)
  • Strong unit testing skills (XUnit/Jest/Cypress)
  • Git (AWS CodeCommit)
